Light barriers of the series ELS 30 … 7 A S/E und ELS 30 … 6 S/E work without lenses, i.e. with unfocussed light. In order to still reach high coverage distance we´ve installed extremly hight emitting energy. 

For your specific application this offers interesting advantages:
  • High insensitiveness regarding pollution. Working within the definded coverage distance even thick contaminations on the emitter´s exit face don´t bother the sensor!
  • You don´t need no optical tool for adjustment of the sensor. The dispersion of the light signal guarantees safe function even it emitter and receiver are some centimeters out of line.
  • Light barriers ELS 30 ..6 S/E don´t need no cable connection between emitter and receiver. This series therefore is especially suitable for mobile applications. 
  • Light barriers of the serie ELS 30 ..7 A S/E are equipped with an interconnection cable so that the sensor will not be distorted by external light
